COMMISSIONERS t 1 NO. 143 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., December 23, 1940. County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. Motion duly made and seconded that payment in the amount of $1075,00 be approved in favor of Andy Turk, Peters Township, in settlement of damages in connection with the reconstruction of Route 62026 in said township. Motion carried, Motion duly made and seconded that payment in the amount of $80,00 be approved in favor of Anthony (Tony) Smollar and Pauline Smollar, Somerset Township, in settlement of damages in conneo- tion with the reconstruction of Route 62052 in said township. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that payment in the amount of 425.00 be approved in favor of Johanna Meyer, Carroll Township, in settlement of damages in connection with the reconstruction of Route 18L6R1 in said township. Motion carried. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned, THE FOREGOING MINUTES READ AND APPROVED: December 30, 1940 ATTEST: ZA"W-41UN NO, I" Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., December 30, 1940. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. The resignation of A. D. Riddle, regularly appointed assessor in and for Somerset Township, was presented to the Board and accepted inasmuch as Mr. Riddle removed from the said township and is, therefore, ineligible to serve in such capacity. Action in the matter of filling the vacancy was deferred until a latbr date. Minutes No. 139-140-141-142-143 were read and approved by the Board.
