Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. i Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mrs O'Neil, that the agreement between Washington County and Allegheny County Workhouse and Inebriate Asylum for the maintenance of prisoners from Wash- { ington County, be approved, the rate of such maintenance to be 80� per day for each prisoner and I 1.50 transportation for each discharged prisoner to the County Seat. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Berryman, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that all former employees who have not been 3 reappointed or re-elected for the year 1940 and who are still performing any of their former y duties, be notified that their services are no longer required and their relation with the county E j will terminate upon receipt of such notice and that all such former emaployee& be paid at the same rate of pay as received by them during December, 1939, for the number of days actually involved, i i such payment being made to them as a matter of fairness only. Motion carried, I Minutes No. 2-3-6-6 were read and approved. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.
