Washington, Pa., January 30, 1940.
County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Cummins and O'Neil,
Mr. Berryman being absent.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to accept the 1930
Delinquent County Taxes against the property assessed in the name of Alex and Sandy Lapisto
in East Pike Run Township on a Valuation of 400 rather than on the valuation of 1200 as
liened, which is in error and that he be exonerated from the balance of said tax in the amount
of $6.80o Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.

In accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly made and provided in such matters
the County Controller, represented by his Deputy, Gilbert Dentel, presented to the County Com-
missioners, the proposed budget for the year 1940, the Board of County Commissioners being
represented by Commissioner; O'Neil and Chief Clerk, T. C. Hickson, both Mr. Berryman and Mr.
Cummins being absent.
Mr. O'Neil accepted the proposed budget of the County Controller for the consideration
of the Commissioners in the final adoption of their budget for the year 1940, but in the absence
of a quorum of the Board, further action was deferred until a later date*
There being no further hction to be taken at this time, the meeting adjourned.
