COMMISSIONERS 40 C 11 NO, 40 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., February 23, 1940. County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Cummins and O'Neil, Mr. Berryman being absent. Motion duly made and seconded that the project application for DPA Relief Work Program, covering general maintenance work under the supervision of the Washington County Road and Bridge Department, be approved. Motion carried. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTES READ AND APPROVED: February 27, 194 ATTEST: NO. 41 Office of the County Comi.ssioners, Washington, Pa., February 27, 1940. County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Cummins and O'Neil, Mr. Berryman being absent, Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for bids to be received in the Office of the County Controller until 11 A.M., E.S.T., on March 8, 1940, and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners, for the followings Item 1 - Two new 1940 Black Oldsmobile Four -Door Sedans, Series #70, "G,J." Group, each with heater and defroster for use of the Sheriff's Office, with allowance on the purchase price to be made for trade-in of two 1938 Black Oldsmobile Six -Cylinder Touring Sedans, Model F-38, now being used by the Sheriff's Office. Item 2 - Two new 1940 Nash Ambassador Six, four -door Black Sedans with fast back, each equipped with weather eye heater, for use of the District Attorney's Office, with allowance on the purchase price to be made for trade-in of one 1937 Buick Sedan, now being used by the Dis- trict Attorney's Offices Certified check in the amount of 50.00 must accompany each of the foregoing bids and the right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Motion carried. Minutes Nos. 39 and 40 were read and approved by the Board.
