County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, the following persons being pres-
ent: Messrs. Berryman and Cummins, Mr. O'Neil being absent from the County
Motion duly made and seconded that the County of Washington pay to the Peoples Natural Gas
Company, Pittsburgh, Pa,, the sum of 3500 toward the cost of the relocation of their pipe lines
and telephone lines in connection with the reconstruction and relocation of S.H.R. 62048 and
62050, for which the County assumed damages under date of December 29, 1939, and that an agree-
ment in accordance therewith be executed. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.

County Board of Elections in session with Messrs. Berryman and Cummins present, Mr. O'Neil
being unable to attend becuase of absence from the county,
Motion duly made and seconded that upon recommendation of the Assistants to the Return
Board for the Primary, April 23, 1940s the said Assistants are hereby directed to open the ballot
boxes for the following named districts in order to clear up the apparent discrepancies, erasures
etc. I. in the returns made by the Election Boards in the said districts: Robinson 3rd Precinct,
Chartiers 5th Precinct, Canton 2nd Precinct and Charleroi 2nd Precinct. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
