Board of County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, members present being
Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil.
Motion duly made and seconded that the Agreement between Washington County and Allegheny County
I Workhouse and Inebriate Asylum for the maintenance of prisoners from Washington County for the six
months' period beginning July 1, 1940, be approved, the rate of such maintenance to be 80� per day
i
I for each prisoner and $1.50 transportation for each discharged prisoner to the County Seat. Motion
i
carried.
i
Motion duly made and seconded that the County of Washington co-operate with the School District
{ and Borough Council of Stockdale in exonerating liened and delinquent county tax for the years
I
1936-38-39 in the amount of $7.74, including penalty and interest, against a lot formerly assessed
j in the name of the Fred Parks Estate, but now owned by the Borough of Stockdale and used for
borough purposes, said lot to be listed as exempt property for the year 1940 and thereafter while
j same is used for borough purposes; the County Treasurer and the Borough of Stockdale to be ad-
vised of this action of the Board of County Commissioners. Motion carried.

There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.

Lotion duly made and seconded that the County Commissioners co-operate with the School District
and Borough Council of Centerville in accepting liened and delinquent county tax against the property
of Helen Smith of said borough, without penalty and interest, the County Treasurer to be advised of
this action of the Board of County Commissioners. Motion carried.
= There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
