COMMISSIONERS 12 99 WARD PRINTING O-'i�3-�-------�-- -i--^- '-_-- NO. 126 Office of the County Commissioners, f Washington, Pa., October 10, 1940. i County Commissioners in regular session for the purpose of awarding the contract for one 1941 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Black Club Sedan, with trade-in allowance for one 1938'Chevrolet four -door sedan for use at the County Garage, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and OtNeil; Deputy Controller Dental also present. (motion duly made and seconded that the contract for the aforementioned automobile for use at the County Garage be awarded to the Scott Motor Company, Washington, Pa., at their gross bid of $723,50, with trade-in allowance on the 1938 Chevrolet Sedan in the amount of $425.75, making the net bid $297.75, Motion carried and the County Controller authorised to return the certified check of the unsuccessful bidder. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTES READ AND APPROVED: October 31, 1940. Motion duly made and (seconded that the Polling Plaos for the First Precinct of the Borough of Houston be moved from the ground floor of the Borough Building, occupied by the Houston Volunteer Fire Department to the second floor of the same building; this change being made in accordance with the request of William McNutt, President of the Volunteer Fire Department, for the reason that removal of the fire -fighting equipment causes great inconvenience to the Fire Department.
