Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: BE IT RESOLVED, By the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans submitted by the Department of Highways for the changing of State Highway Routes 62011 and 62082, in Morris Township, between Stations 114+00 to 124*06.90 and 2+00 to 3+66.00, respectively, have been ex- amined and the County Commissioners agree that the County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construction of the highway as contemplated by these plans, or arty damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the constructiami or maintenance of the highway. Motion carried. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, members present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County of a note for Fifty Thousand (050,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan, was presented, duly seconded and adopted by said Board, toy-wtt: WHEREAS, It has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of Fifty Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 1941, and to be payable out of taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed and are to be levied and collected by the County during the year 1941, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of CountyCommissioners of the said County of Washington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County, the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a temporary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes which are to be levied and collected during the year 1941, and so much of said taxes as may be necessary to repay said loan, with in- terest, is hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a note therefor, ayable August 5, 1941, with interest from date of said note at the rate of one and one-half (l'per cent* per annumn, free of all taxes levied by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said taxes the County of Washington assmues and agrees to pay, said note to be negotiated and issued as follows: g FJr.J MINUTE BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA JOHN D. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. In accordance with the Act of Assembly in such cases made and provided, the proposed budget of the County Controller for the year 1941 was presented to the County Commissioners by Deputy Controller Dentel and upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, same was accepted by the County Commissioners, to be considered in the final adoption of their budget for the year 1941. Minutes No. 160-161-162-163 were read and approved by the Board. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTES READ AND APPROVED. - February 10, 1941 ATTEST: NO. 165 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., February 5, 1941. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those present being Messrs Berryman and Cummins, Mr, O'Neil being absent from the county. Motion duly made and seconded that payment in the amount of $1200,00 be approved, covering damages to the property of Erna M. Fenimore, Peters Tovmship, this county, in connection with the reconstruction of the Canonsburg -McMurray Road. Motion carried. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.
