O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS N0. 171 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., February 17, 1941. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, I Cummins and O'Neil. Motion duly made and seconded that the awarding of the contract for Fleet Insurance on auto,. imobile and truck equipment and road building machinery owned and operated by Washington Pounty, on February 14th to J. R. Culley, Agent, Burgettstovn, Pa., be confirmed by letter and Mr. Culley I instructed to forward the necessary policies covering public liability, property damage, fire and theft on the aforementioned equipment, to the Chief Clerk of the County Commissioners at once. Motion carried, Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for bids for one 1941 Chevrolet Truck for use of the Washington County Road and Bridge Department, and one 1941 Chevrolet Carry-All-Surburban for use of the Sealer of Weights and Measures, with allowance I I for trade-in of one 1934 Ford Truck Chassis which may be seen at the County Garage, and specification for the new equipment may be had at the Office of the County Road and Bridge Department; such bids I to be received by the County Controller until 11 A.M., on Monday, March 3, 1941, and opened immediat ly thereafter in the County Commissioners' Office; each bid must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of $100.,00 and the right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that payment in the amount of $264.00 be approved in favor of Wallace Be Gourley, Attorney for the A. B. Brown Estate, in connection with damages in the construc- tion of Route 62026 in Peters Township. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the copy of the Agreement with the Washington County Commis-1 sinners and the Westmoreland County Commissioners, and the Western Union Telegraph Company, Pitt i Pa., be duly filed, said agreement covering the placing of telegraph wires on the Donora-Webster E Inter -County Bridge; Washington County to receive from the said Western Union Telegraph Company i 1 the annual sum of $12*50, effective November 1, 1940, and Westmoreland County to receive a like I sum, effective on the same date.
