BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
JOHN D. BERRYMAN, ROSS R. CUMMINS,
NO. 177
WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
JOHN N. O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS
Office of the County Commissioners,
Washington, Pa., March 6, 19419
Board of County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those present being; Messrs.
Berryman and O'Neil, Mr. Cummins being absent.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorised to accept the 1933 de-
linquent county tax liened against Frank Filary on his property located in the 7th Warn of the
City of Washington and described as Frame House & Lot No. 75 Woodland Avenue, without penalty and
interest inasmuch as question is raised as to the validity of the lien since the Estate of Frank
Filary sold Lot No. 75 Woodland Avenue for the payment of debts in August of 1933, at which time
the 1933 County Tax was due and it is believed that this sale divested the lien of this tax and
transferred it to the proceeds under the Decree of the Orphans' Court at No. 45, February Term,
1933, O.C., the Treasurer to receive a copy of this minute. Motion carried,
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned,
