State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County of a note for Fifty Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars as a•temporary loan, was presented, duly seconded and adopted by said Board, to -wits WHEREAS, It has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of Fifty Thousand ($50,000.001) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 1941, and to be payable out of taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed and levied and are to be collected by the County during the year 1941, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Washington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County, the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a temporary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes which have been levied and are to be collected during the year 1941, and so mucli of said takes as may be necessary to repay said loan, with interest, is hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a note therefor pay- able August 5, 1941, with interest from date of said note at the rate of one and one-half (1i5 per cent* per annum, free of all taxes levied by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said taxes the County of Washington assumes and agrees to pay, said note to be negotiated and issued as follows: THE IVASHINGTON UNION TRUST COMPANY, Washington, Pa., $50#000000 There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. Board of aunty Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. Motion duly made and seconded that the following resolution be adopteds BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans submitted by the Department of Highways for the changing of State Highway Route 113, Section 14, from Station 396#00 to Station 447#50, in North Bethlehem Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, have been examined and the County Commissioners agree that the County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construction of the highway as contemplated by these plans, or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of the highway. Lotion carried. Minutes No. 187 and 188 were read and approved by the Board. There being no further business before the meeting, It was adjourned.
