Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman,
Cummins and O'Neil.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the County Controller be authorised
to advertise for bids to be received in his office until 11 A.M., E.S.T., Monday, May 120 1941,
and opened immediately thereafter in the County Commissioners' Office, for one 1941 "U" Special
Chevrolet Truck for use of the County Road and Bridge Department, with allowance for trade-in for
one 1935 White Truck Chassis, which may be seen at the County garage; specifications for the new
truck to be seen at the County Garage and certified check in the amount of $100.00 must aocampany
each bid and the right is reserved to reject any or all bids* Motion carried*
With ref#jrenae to the "Mail Check-up of Registers" as provided by the Acts of Assembly,
action was taken by the Commissioners, sitting as the Registration Commission, whereby seventy-
three persons were appointed to serve as Special Inspectors of Registration, in accordance with
the recommendation of the Chief Clerk of the Registration Commission the names of such -appointees

to be submitted by such Chief Clerk to the County Controller and the Chief Clerk of the County
Commissioners,
