Washington, Pa., May 2, 1941.
Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman,
Cummins and O'Neil.
Motion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the application for exemption from
taxation of property in Centerville Borough, now assessed in the name of Rev. John Mo Rostas, but
being the property of the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, and used for religious services and
is therefore exempt from taxation in accordance with the Acts of Assembly in such oases made and
provided, such exemption to apply for the year 1940, as well as subsequent years in which such
property is used for religious services; the County Treasurer to receive an exceppt of this
minute in order that delinquent taxes against the said property for the year 1940 may be exoner-
ated on the tax lien docket for that year. Motion carried.

Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel the sale
against the assessment in the name of George Decko, Fallowfield Township, such assessment being
carried in dhplleatiot th;that hf',Peter Feesen for the years 1927-1928 on Lots 5-6-7 Dawson
Plan in said Township, the tax on said lots for the years 1927-1928 having been paid by Peter
Fecsen, the rightful owner. Motion carried and the County Treasurer to receive an excerpt of
this minute.
Motion by Mr. Cumins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that James J. Cleland be appointed to fill
the existing facancy on the Washington County Housing Authority caused by the resignation of Lee
M. Crowthers, such appointment to cover the unexpired term of Mr. Crowthers which was made
January 7, 1941, effective for a three year period. Notion carried, with Mr. O'Neil not voting.
Minutes Number 195-196 were read and approved by the Board.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.

Notion duly made and seconded that the sum of $1000 be transferred from the unappropriated
cash balance to Account No. 123, to provide for the purchase of additional equipment in the Law
Library, Motion carried.
