O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS iz waxo b`723 — _ District Attorney Cummins appeared before the Board and was advised that the equipment account as set up for his office in the budget for the current year, has been exhausted, therefore, motion was duly made and seconded that the sum of $126.10 be transferred from Account No. 122-B to Account ' No. 122-J. Notion carried. In accordance with the request contained in the letter of Roxane L. Yarzolf, Chief Probation Officer of the Juvenile Court, dated April 15, 1941, motion was duly made and seconded that the sum of $500#00 be transferred from Account No. 132-A Juvenile to Account No. 132 A-1 Juvenile inasmuch as the sum set up for extra help in the budget for the current year has been exhausted* Notion carried. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. Notion duly made and seconded that payment in the amount of $3400, with interest from January 150 1941, to May 10, 1941, be approved in favor of J. R. Irwin Knox, attorney for Luola Je Whites Executrix of the Estate of Na.rguuiretta C. Little, the total amount of such payment to be 3506.54 which said payment represents the verdict recovered against the County at No. 109 February Term, 1939, A.D., in connection with damages incidental to the reconstruction of Route 113 - 9B in Amwell Township• Notion carried* Notion duly made and seconded that payment in the total amount of V101.90 be approved in favor of Harry F. Moore, Attorney for MaJecus MoKahan, representing the verdict in the amount of $100.00 recovered against the County at No. 109 February Term, 19390 A.D., with interest to date of payment, May 10, 1941, such payment to cover damages incidental to the reconstruction of Route 113 - 9 B is Amwell Township. Notion carried. Notion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorised to remove from the 194u Treasurer's Tax Sale$, the property of the Finlander Boarding House, in West Pike Run Township, which was sold for the 1932 county tax, such property having been previously sold at Sheriff's Sale No. 113 August Term 1932, and the said 1932 county tax not having been included in the certification of delinquent taxes by the County Treasurer to the Sheriff, and it further appearing that an amount sufficient to pay the said 1932 county tax was bid at the time of said sale and would have been ooi- lected had the same been properly certified* Notion carried. 1 1 1 1 N MINUTE BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA JOHN D. O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS 1 1 1 Motion duly made and seconded that the 1926 County Tax be exonerated by the County Treasurer as entered at Into. 117 May Term 1927 M.L.D., there being no suggestions and averments filed since the date of entry, such liened and delinquent tax being assessed agd.4nst the property carried on the assessment records in the name of E. T. Morris, in the 6th Ward of the City of Washington for the year 1926. Motion carried* Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorised to cancel the 1940 Treasurer's Tax Sale against property assessed in the name of Frank Swart, ,lLwell Township, for the year 1930, such property having been sold at Orphans' Court Sale and the said tax lien was discharged by the decree of the Orphans' Court at No. 40 November Term 1936. Motion carried* The Board confirmed the reading and approval of Minutes No. 197 and 198 on May 5, 1941. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil* Motion duly mace and 4eoonded chat the following Resolution be adopted: BE IT :RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans submitted by the Department of Highways for the changing of Stake Highway Route 620161, in Fallowfield Township Washington bounty, from Station 452+00.00 to Station 459s50.00 have been examined and the County Commissioners agree that the County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construction of tihe highway as contemplated by these plans, or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of the highway. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer's Office be authorised to accept the 1939 delinquent taxes in the amount of $951.34 against the Henderson Coal Company, Cecil Township, this county, without penalty and interest, with proviso that said taxes are paid im- mediately.
