Board of County Commissioners in joint session with the County Controller for the purpose
of opening bids in accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller for the necessary
ballots, election supplies, etc., for use of the Election Officers at the Primary to be held
beptember 9, 1941, present for County Conmi.ssioners, Messrs. Berryman and Cummins, 1�r. OINei1
being absent; present for the County Controller, Deputy Controller Dentel.
In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement,, the following bids were opened and
read in the presence of the County Comissionerss

20,000 Candidates' Specimen Ballots ....................•.. 4635.00
William G. Johnston Company, Pittsburgh, Pa,
188 sets of supplies for the Primary Election .............. $817.67
To include the Voter's Guide in each boa, the names of candi-
dates for city anit county -pride offices printed on return
papers, necessary computing books, etc.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the awarding of the contracts for
the foregoing supplies be deferred until a later date. Motion carried*
The following bid was also presented in connection with the delivery of the ballots and
supplies for the Primary to be held September 9, 1941s
T. Me Bedillion, R. D. #4, Washington, Pa.
Delivering ballots, ballot boxes and other election supplies
to various Judges of Elections for the Primary Election to
be held on September 9, 1941 .......•....•................. 296.00
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the awarding of the foregoing contract was
deferred until a later date*
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.
