Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Bed,

Notion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel the Treasurer's
Tax Sale of January 22, 1940, in the name of George Zamborsky, Cecil Township, for 1928 delinquent
i
county tax against property assessed and liened as House and Lot, Adjacent Rosie Briant", such ;
sale being in error in vie, of the fact that the said 1928 county tax was paid as indicated by
receipt Noe 458, date June 27, 19L8, making the lien against said property erroneous, and the 1
proper clerk is hereby authorised and instructed to correct the records in the Prothonotary's
Office insofar as they effect the said erroneous lien• Motion carried.
Notion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the Deed of Release and Quitclaim
executed by the County of Washington in connection with property owned by the said county in
Smith Township, and affected by the improvement of a section of road in said township, designated
as Route 62182 between Stations 54r00 and 56f50, by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways.

Notion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the Release of Damages executed in
favor of Washington County by Irene W. and V. N. Noffit in connection with the improvement of
Pike Run Road in East Pike Run Township. Motion carried.
Notion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the Release of Daalages executed in
favor of Washington County by Helen Daniels in oo=ection with the improvement of the Pike Rum
Road in East Pike Run Township. Notion carried.
Notion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the Agreement executed between Wash-
ington County and John and Ella Sohussler in connection with the improvement of the Houston-
McConnells Mill Road in Chartiers Township; such agreement to cover the payment of the totail semi
of $10.00 to the said John and Ella Sohussler by Washington County, eovering the laying of a tile
drain across the Sohussler Property, Notion carried,
Notion duly made and seconded that the following appropriations be made to the organisations
set forth below in connection with defraying expenses of Memorial Day, May 30, 1941:

Notion duly made and seconded that the contract for the necessary.ballots for use at the
Primary to be held September 9, 1941, be awarded jointly to the Monongahela Publishing Compazw"
Monongahela, Pa. and the Ward Printing Comipamy, Washington, Pa., in accordance with their bid of
August 8, 1942, in the amount of $4635,009 Motion carried.
Notion duly made and seconded that the contract for the necessary election supplies for use
of the Election Officers at the Primary to be held September 9, 1941, be awarded to the William,
G. Johnston Company,, Pittsburgh, Pa., in accordance with their bid of August 8, 1941, in the
amount of $817,67. Motion carried.
The foregoing contracts were awarded by the County Commissioners in -che presence of Deputy
Controller Dentel.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.
