Board of County Commissioners in joint session with the County Controller for the purpose of

opening bids for the furnishing and placing of approximately fifty tons of Bituminous Binder Course
and approximately 1240 sq, yds. of Mixed -in -Place Bituminous Surface Course on the Pike Run Road in
East Pike Run Township, as per advertisement of the County Controller; present for the County Coon.
missioners, Messrs. Berryman and Cummins, Mr. O'Neil being absent; J. K. Smith, County Controller,
and his Deputy,, G. L. Dentel, also present.
The following bids were opened and read in the presence of the County Comm►i.esioners in response'
to the aforementioned advertisements

Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by air. Berryman, that the contract for the foregoing road
materials be awarded to the Hull Resurfacing Co,, Butler, Pa., at their net bid of $1275.20 and
that the County Controller be authorized to return the certified checks of the unsuccessful bidders.
Motion carried, with the County Controller and his Deputy present at the time of this action in the
awarding of the said contract*
There being no further business before the joint meeting, it was adjourned.
