O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS 1 1 C NO, 226 Office of the County Commmissioners, Washington, Pa., August 18, 1941. The Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman. and Cutmnins, Mr. O'Neil being absent from the county. Motion duly made and seconded that the contract for the delivery of the ballots, ballot boxes and election supplies for use of the Election Officers at the Primary to be held September 9! 1941, in the various districts of the county, be awarded to To Me Bedillion, R. De #4, Washington, Pa., at his revised bid price of $276#009 Motion carried, r mere being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVEDs August 22, 1941 ATTESTS NO. 227 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., August 19t 1941 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those present being Messrs. Berryman and Cummins, Mr. O'Neil being absent from the county. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorised to exonerate the 1929 County Tax against the Kaolite Manufacturing Company, Smith Township, on property described as as 163 Acres of surface, said property having been sold at Sheriff's Sale No. 95 May'Term 1929 from which sale sufficient proceeds were obtained to cover the said 1929 county tax but were inadvertently excluded when settlement of the proceeds from the sale was made. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorised to cancel the Treasurer's Tax Sale of January 24, 1940, 3.n the name of Charles Landay, 614 Duncan Avenue, 7th Ward of the City of Washington, for delinquent county tax for the year 1950 against property described as a house and lot, at the said 614 Duncan Avenue; such Treasurer's Sale being erroneous in view of the fact that the said�-Charles Landay never helt title to the said propertye Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorised to cancel the Treasurer's Tax Sale of June 18, 19180 in the name of Thomas AgnfW, ClArroll Township, for 1915- 16-17 delinquent taxes against property described as Lot 45 in said township In the John G. Sampson Plan, such sale being in error in viewr of the fact that the said 'Thomas Agnew never held title to the said lot. Motion carried* Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel the Treasur- ar'a Tax Sale of January 24, 1940, in the name of Fred Anderson, Carroll Township, for 1928 delinquent taxes against property described as Lots 235-236, Eldora Plan #1, which description was in error inasmuch as the plan number in the said description should have been Plan No. 3
