COMMISSIONERS ,,3 3 .J 1 NO.233 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., September 8, 1941. Board oak' County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil* It appearing that the Washington County Housing Authority, created to operate within the County of Washington, having the authority to transact business and exercise its powers, has requested an additional advancement and loan in the amount of $2000.00, without interest, agreeing to repay the said advancement and loan out of the first monies made available to it for that purpose, motion was made by Mr. Cummmins, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the County of Washington, in accordance with the authority given to it by the Act of May 26,, 193% P. L. 8880 appropriate the sum of $2000900, without interest, to the said Authority in order that funds Will be available to defray the administrative expenses of such authority, pending receipt of funds already "ear -marked" for the use of the Washington County dousing Authority by the United States Authority. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the following persons be named as Assistants to the Official Return Board to compi}te the votes cast at the Primary, September 9, 19411 John L.Simms, Estelle H. Osterhout, Bernard Be Zeszutek, Agnes Maxwell# Angola Be Marehione, Julia Holodack, J. Be Hallam Catherine K. Flaherty, Me C. Wilson Motion carried, Motion duly made and seconded that the following resolution be adoptedl "BE IT RESOLVED BY THE County Commissioners of Washington County, that the plans submitted by the Department of Highways for the changing of Highway for the changing of State Highway Route 62174, in Union Township, between Stations 37#12,00 and 45e00.00, have been examined and the County Commissioners agree that the County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting'from the con struetion of the highway as contemplated by these plans, or for the removal or demolition of any buildings or structures required to be removed or demolished by said plans, or any damages arising out of arq changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or main- tenance of the highway." Motion carried. Minute No. 232 was read and approved by the Board. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
