Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs, Berryman and
Cummins, Mr. O'Neil being absent from the County.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to transfer the sum of
$1250 from the unappropriated balance to Account No, 166, Motion carried,
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs, Berryman and
Cummins, Mr. O'Neil being absent from the county.
Upon the personal application of John T. Schwartz, candidate for School Director on the
Democratic Ticket in the Borough of Charleroi, under that name and a candidate on the Republican
Ticket for the same office under the name of John Schwartz, and upon the suggestion of the Court
of Common Pleas of Washington County, the Return Board now canvassing the returns from the
Municipal Election held November 4, 1941, is hereby authorized and directed to open the ballot
baxes for the various precincts in the said Borough of Charleroi and to canvass and compute the
votes cast for the said office of School Director in the said Borough.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County 'Treasurer be authorized to cancel the Tressur-
er's Tax Sale of January 23, 1940, in the name of Toney Benzerego for delinquent taxes for the
years 1927 through 1930, against property situate in Fallowfield Township and described as 2
acres Surface, Adjacent Van Voorhis, this sale being in error in view of the duplicate assess-
ment of said property in the name of the said Toney Benzerego through the year 1940, and in the
name of Washington County for the year 1941, and also in the name of Sam Neal, the rightful owner
since the year 1927, Motion carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
