O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS M _J N0. 190 Office of the County Commissioners, I Washington, Pa., April 10, 1941. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those present being ­s Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. Motion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the following damage claims as set forth below: Mary B. Roach, in the amount of $375.00 in accordance with agreement for the payment of damages in Peters Township, Route 62026, filed at No. 207 May Term, 1941, to which no exceptions have been filed. F. M. Roach, Bessie Fife and Vinnie Roach, wife of Robert B.Roach, deceased, in the amount of $400.00, in accordance with the agreement for the payment of damages in reters Township, Route 62026, filed at No. 206 May Term, 1941, to which no exceptions have been filed. Equitable Gas Company in the amount of $767.65, in accordance with the agree- ment for the payment of damages in Somerset Township, Route 62052, filed at No. 280 February Term, 1941, and to which no exceptions have been filed. Dr. J. T. McGrann, Miss Belle McGrann, Dr. James A. MOGrann and Walter E. MoGrann, in the amount of $1200,00, in accordance with the agreement for the payment of damages in raters Township, Route 62026-057, filed at No. 270 February Term, 1941, to which no exceptions have been filed. Motion carried. Berryman, Cxz=Jns and O'Neil,* Motion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the agreement between Washington County and Joseph and Anna Miskov, of Jefferson Township, whereby it is set forth that the tax claims under which the property of the said Joseph and Anna Miskov, in said township, containing 174.62 acres, which was sold at the 1940 Treasurer's Tax Sale, are invalid insofar as they re- late to the said acreage, being the same tract of land conveyed by Samuel Fix"l et ux et al to Guy Lindley by Deed dated January 21, 1936, and recorded in Deed Book 604, Palle 281, and conveyed by said Guy Lindley et ux to Joseph and Anna Miskov by deed dated August 15, 19361, and recorded in Deed Book 624, Page 39; said tax claim to be cancelled and withdrawn from the list of 1940 Tax Sales of the County Treasurer, in accordance with Agreement filed at No' 337 May Term, 1940, A.D. Motion carried, the County Treasurer to receive an excerpt of this minute, and the necessary corrections to be made on the assessment records in the Commissioners' Office, as well as on the dockets in the Prothonotary's Office and Treasurer's Office. COMMISSIONERS Motion duly made and seconded that the property assessed as Lots 35 and 36, Block 19, in the Borough of North Charleroi, in the name of Joseph Fashing through the year 19381, be removed from i the 1940 Treasurer's Tax Sales inasmuch as the said lots became the property of Washington County at the 1918 Treasurer's Tax Sale; and that delinquent taxes for the years 1935-36-37-38 be exonov. ated because of the existing erroneous assessment in the name of Joseph Fashing; the assessment j records in the Commissioners' Office and the lien dockets in the Prothonotary's Office and Treasur- er's Office to be corrected accordingly. Motion carried and the County Treasurer to receive anc excerpt of this a6tion of the Board of County Commissioners. Minutes Number 189 and 190 were read and approved by the Board* More being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. Notion duly made and seconded that the following resolutions be adopted by the Board, to -wits BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans submitted by the Department of Highways for the proposed reconstruction of State Highway Route 62123, from Station 153#00 to Station 158#30, in West Finley Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, have been examined and the County Commissioners agree that the County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construction of the highway as contemplated by these plans, or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of the highway. BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans submitted by the Department of Highways for the proposed reconstruction of State Highway Route 62140, from Station $$e50' to Station 63e17,.09, in the Borough of Marianna, Washington County, Pennsylvania,. and Township Road Noe 62331, from Station 63#17*09 to Station 68#17,67, in West Bethlehem Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, have been examined and the County Commissioners agree that the i County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construction of the highway as contemplated by these plans, or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of the highway. Notion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to accept 1925 delinquent county tax against Costis De Scoumis of the lst Ward of the Borough of Canonsburg, at Noe 168 February Tom, 1929, without interest inasmuch as the payment of this tax was inadvertently omitted in the payment of all other taxes by the said Costis D.
