Motion duly made and seconded that payment in the amount of $100.00 be approved in favor of
Elizabeth Phillips, Hickory, Pa., in accordance with Deed of Release and Quitclaim executed by
she said Elisabeth Phillips in connection with damages to her property in Cross Creek Township
incidental to the reconstruction of L. R. 62039 in said township. Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel the Treaurerb
Tax Sale of April 22, 1940, against the property assessed in the name of Steve Drozdik in the
Borough of Bentleyville, such assessment being in error and said property being properly assessed
in the name of Andy Gaso, the rightful owner, thereby resulting in a duplicate assessment for the
years 1931 through 1935. Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel the Treasur-
or's Tax Sale of January, 1940, against property assessed in the name of Frank Deganno (DeGarno)
Buffalo Township, and exonerate the taxes included in same, i.e. 1927-1928 County taxes, by
reason of the fact that the lien of the said taxes was discharged by'Deoree of the Orphans'
Court At No, 41-42-43 August Urm, 1934, covering the sale of a portion of the said property of
Frank Deganno (DeGarno) to Thomas and Della Riley. Motion carried.
Minutes No. 200 and 201 were read and approved by the Board.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County, that the plans submitted by
the Department of Highways for the changing of State Highway Route 62053, in West Bethlehem Tor"
ship, between Stations 47+94 and 50e32, have been examined and the County Commissioners agree that
the County will not assume liability for any and all property damages resulting from the construo-
tion of the highway as contemplated by these plans, and also all damages arising out of any
changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of the highway.
Motion carried. Minute No. 202 was read and approved by the Board.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.
