COMMISSIONERS r,1 fj 1 NO. 237 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., October 15, 1941. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and 0*Neil. Motion duly made and seconded that the following appropriations be approved in addition to those of other such organizations approved under date of August 11, 1941, to assist in defray- ing expenses incurred in connection with Memorial Day celebrations of May 30, 1941: Hanson -Cole Post No. 391, American Legion, F'rederisktown, Pa. Albert Minicucci, Commander $81.00 American Legion Post No. 639, Claysville, Pa, #100.00 Harold R. McNutt, Commander Frank Downer Post No. 002, American Legion, Monongahela, Pa. $loo.00 E. A. Patterson, Commander - Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County of Washington cooperate with the Township Supervisors and School Board of Smith Township by authorizing the Gounty Treasurer to accept payment of delinquent county taxes under the partial payment plan aganinst the Pittsburgh & Erie and C. F. Gerrard tracts located in said township, a portion of which it to be conveyed by C. F. -jherrard. Motion carried. Minutes No. 235-236 were read and approved by the Board. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.Bbrry�man, Cummins and O'Neil, Motion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the execution of the Release of Damages between the County of Washington and R. C. and Mary C. Milliken, owners, and G. E, and Martha Taylor, tenants, of certain real estate situate in the Township of Amwell, Washington County, such release to cover the payment of the sum of $225.00 by the said County of Washington from any and all claims for damages arising from the reconstruction of the Lone Pine Road in said township, along which road the said real estate is situate. Motion oarried.
