O'NEIL. COMMISSIONERS 1 F� NO* 252 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., December 31, 1941. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those persons present being Messrs, Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil• Motion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the Agreement executed on Decem- ber 29, 1941, between Washington County ana the Allegheny County Workhouse and Inebriate Asylum for the six months' period beginning January 1, 1942, and terminating July 1, 1942s, whereby the rate of maintenance for Washington County prisoners at said institution is fixed at 83¢ each per day, with the additional sum of 41.50 allowed for transportation of each discharged prisoner to the County Seat„ Motion carried. Minutes No. 249-250-251 were read and approved by the Board. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for sealed proposals for a policy of insurance within the limits of $20,0OQ to $100,000 in a re- liable and approved stock company, protecting the County of Washington against liability imposed by law upon theca for damage on account of personal injuries, including death aeci- dentally suffered by any person or persons (excepting employees) caused by or resulting from the existence of repairing and/or maintaining of the various buildingsand properties of the County or the County Highways and bridges; such bids to be received by the County Controller until 11:00 AoV*, E.S.T., on Friday, January 23, 1942, and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners; any additional information as to the liability to be covered and the full and complete description of the property, buildings and highways, will be furnished upon application at the Office of the County Commissioners; the right is re- served to reject any or all bids and a certified check in the amount of 100.00 must accompany each bid, Motion carried* There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
