COMMISSIONERS 47 1 F #.: 4 1 (k) All such employees claiming the benefits of said Act shall file with the head or chief of his or her department the statement and power of attornpy required under Section 2 of the said Act. (b) Every dependent claiming the benefits provided in the said Act shall file a statement under oath, with the head of the department with whom the em- ployee's statement aforesaid has been filed, showing the relationship and extent of dependency, which said statement shall be filed prior to any payment and so often thereafter as requested by the said head of the said department. (c) Before making awj payment under the provisions of the said Act, as amended, the County Commissioners may cause an investigation to be made to determine the existence of the dependency claimed and determine the amount of such dependency, and may, from time to time, cause a re -investigation to be made; all employees' and dependents' statements, as well as written reports of all investigations, to be kept on file in the Office of the County Commissioners. (d) All payments made under the provisions of the aforesaid Acts shall be by proper check or draft of the County and to have printed on the reverse side thereof, the following statement: "I hereby certify by the endorsement hereof, that there has been no change in my relationship or dependency since the filing of my last statement with the County Commis- sioners". Motion carried. Minute No. 304 was read and approved by the Board, There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned* THE FOREGOING MINUTES READ AND APPROVED: July 10, 1942 ATTEST: NO. 306 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., July 10, 1942. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. Lotion duly made and seconded that confirmation be given to the transfer of the sum of $200*00 from Account 107-D a-1 to .Account 107 e-1 as per the request of County Treasurer, John L. Post. Motion carried. .Motion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the payment of the sum of $100.00 to Arch Lhormer, Carroll Township, representing full payment for damages to his property in said township in connection with the changing of the line and channel and width of Pigeon Creek inei- dental to the rebuilding of Van Voorhis Bridge, Pigeon Creek No* 3.
