Washington, Pa., May 18, 1942.
Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins
and O'Neil.
Motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that .Mark R. Ulery, R. D. #2, Washington, Pa.,
be appointed as Tax Collector in Amwell Township to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of
i
J. Leroy Parker, regularly elected tax collector therein. Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the Polling Place in the Borough of Roscoe be changed from
I the Borough Building to the Fireman's Hall, this being a more accessable place for the holding of
elections. Motion carried.

Motion duly made and seconded that the Polling Place in the 3rd Precinct of the 7th Ward of
I
the City of Washington be changed from the Auto Show Room on East Wylie Avenue to the adjoining
vacant store room in the building owned by Lewis Paul, the former place being no longer available.
Motion carried.
Minute No. 295 was read and approved by the Board.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.

Motion duly made and seconded that the following persons be named as Assistants to the Official
Return Board to compute the votes cast at the Primary Held May 19, 1942:

Robert Crawford, California, Pa. Jane Cummins, Washington, Pa.

Motion duly made and seconded that the proper clerk from the County Commissioners' Office be
authorized to remove the lien entered at No. 1742 February Term, 1916 E D, in the Prothonotary's
I Office, covering 1915 county tax against Isabella Freeman (or John R. Kuntz) on property described
I -
as "a lot fronting in Cherry Avenue on which is erected a building known as No. 60 Cherry Avenue,"
in the 4th Ward of the City of Washington; such aformentioned lien not having been properly revived
as required by the Act of Assembly. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.
