O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS 12 39 WARD PRINTING O 723zb NO. 359 Office of the County Comm issioners,- Washington, Pa., Jame 30, 1943, Board of County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O#Neil. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for bids for furnishing the necessary ballots for the conduct of the Primary Election to be held Tuesday, September 14, 1943; all bids must be submitted upon uniform specification blanks which may be obtained in the Office of the Chief Clerk of the County Commissioners, such bids will be received I by the County Controller until 11 A.M., E,W,T., Friday, July 23, 1943, and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners; each bid must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of *500,00 and the right is reserved to reject any or all bids, Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for bids for supplying tally sheets, return sheets, envelopes, numbered lists of voters, Voter's Guides, etc., etc,, required for use of the election officers at the Primary to be held September 14, 1943; such supplies to be packed in 188 boxes for use in boroughs, townships and third class I cities, as may be found necessary, the bids for which will be received by the County Controller until 11 A.M., E.W.T., Friday, July 23, 1943, and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners; each bid must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of 1 $100.00 and the right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cu mins and O'Neile Motion duly made and seconded that Mrs. Clara Fisher, presently employed as Cleaner in the Court House, be granted an indefinite leave of absehoe because of illness; such leave of absence as to be without salary and to become effective/of July 1, 1943, and that her daughter, Helen 'Davis Maple, be employed in her stead for the period of leave of absence of Mrs. Fisher, or until the first Monday of January, 1944, with proviso that she maybe dismissed upon thirty days'notice.
