Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman,
Cummins and O'Neil*
I In compliance with the request of the County Treasuerer-elect, motion was made by Mr- Cummins,
i
! seconded by Mr. Berryman, that an opening be made between the office of the County Treasurer and
i
Fthe private office of the Sheriff and a suitable door installed in said opening.

Chairman Berryman called for remarks and Mr. C''Neil voiced his objection to the motion,
whereupon Mr. Cummins objected to the inclusion of any remarks in the official record other dean
i
that portion making reference to the various sections of the County Code governing the actions of
the Board of Commissioners. The matter was referred to Chairman Berryman for a ruling as to the
inclusion of the remarks in the official minutes of the meeting. Upon motion duly made, seconded
I
and carried, the meeting was adjourned until 3 P.M. in order that Mr. Berryman might confer with
I
the County Solicitor as to the proper disposition of the matter.

Adjourned meeting -of the Board of County Commissioners at 3 P.M., Friday, December 17, 1943,
for the purpose of disposing of the matter in question relative to the inclusion of certain re-
marks in the official minutes relative to the cutting of an opening between the County Treasurer's
Office and the private office of the Sheriff, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and
O'Neile
After a brief discussion of the matter, the meeting was adjourned until Monday, December 20,
1943, at 10 A.M., at which time the County Solicitor is to be present to interpret the Act of
Assembly governing such matters.
