Board of County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those present being
Messrs. Cummins and O'Neil, Mr. Berryman being absent.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the County Controller be authorized to
adver`Aise for bids for the printing of 10,000 copies of the County Controller's Annual Report
Books for the year 1942; such bids to be received in the Office of the County Controller until
11 A.2.1., E.YI.T., Friday, February 26, 1943, and opened immediately thereafter in the Uffice of
the Counter Commissioners; proposal blanks' and copy may be obtained in the Office of the County
Controller; certified check in the amount of $50 must accompany each bid and the right is reserved
by the County to reject any or all bids. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Berryman.,
Cummins and O'Neil.
The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington,
IState of Pennsylvania, irelative to the issue by the said county of a note for Fifty Thousand
(VT'50,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan, was presented, duly seconded and adopted by said Board,
to -wit:
VIiEFFAS, It has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of Fifty Thousand ($50,900.00)
Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 1943, and to be payable out of
taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed and are to be levied and collected by the
County during the year 1943, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of County Commissioners of the said county of Washington, that
for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the county, the proper
officials of the said county are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a termporary loan on
such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes whichare to be levied and collected
during the year 1943, and so much of said taxes as may be necessary to repay said loan, with in-
terest, is hereby'set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a note therefor, payable
August 5, 1943, with interest from date of said note at the rate of one and one-half (12) per cent.
per annum, free of all taxes levied by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said taxes the Counby
of Washington assumes and agrees to T? , said note to be negotiated and issued as follows:
