The Salary Board of the County of Washington,, having to do with the fixing of salaries of
employees in the County Controller's Office, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on
Tuesday, January 12, 1943, at 4:15 F.M., with the following members present: County Commi
Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil, and County Controller Stuart.
Motion by Mr. Stuart, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salaries of employees in the County
Controller's Office be fixed as follows for the respective positions set forth, for theyear 1943
covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1943, to the first Monday in January, 1944:

The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of salaries of
employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office of the
County Commissioners on Tuesday, January 12, 1943, at 4:30 P.M., with the following members
present, County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil, and County Controller Stuart.
Notion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the salaries of the persons named
below, mployed by the County Commissioners in the respective capacities set forth, be fixed ate

Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that all personas employed as extra Court
clerks by the Prothonotary and Clerk of Courts be paid at the rate of $4,00 per day; that persons
employed as extra clerical help, having ninety days' experience, be paid at the rate of *4.00
per day, propvided that the official holding said office in which such clerical help is employed,
shall first certify to the County Controller that such extra clerical help has had at least ninety
days' experience in that office; that all other clerical help be paid at the rate of #3.50 per
day; and,that substitute cleaners be paid at the rate of #2.00 per day; all of the foregoing rates
to be effective for the time actually employed in the respective capaoitios for the year 1943.

The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of the salary of tI
Secretary to
the County Superintendent of Schools, met in the Office of the County Commissioners, on. Wednesday,
January 13, 1943, at 11s00 AM,. with #lie following members presents County Commissioners Berry
Cummins and O'Neil, and County Controller Stuart, Superintendent of Schools, J. L.-Roberts, also
present.
Upon recommendation of Mr. Roberts, motion was made by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Stuart,
that the salary of Georgene Morton, Secretary to the County Superintendent of Schools, be fixed at
130.00 per month for the year 1943, covering the period from the first Monday of January 1943,
to the first Monday of January, 19 44. Motion carried.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
