The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of the salaries I of employees in the Sheriff's Office, met in the office of the County Commissioners on Tuesday, j January 12, 1943, at 3:15 P.M., with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman,' Cummins and O'Neil; County Controller Stuart and Sheriff C. 0. Williams. Motion by Mr. Vdlliams that the following salaries be paid to the employees in the Sheriff s Office named below for the respective positions set forth. - James H, Douglas, Chief Deputy, $225.00 per month Adam Co Zelt, Real Estate Deputy, 210.00 James J. Kane, Deputy, 195.00 Thomas Harvey, Deputy, 195,00 Louis Furman, Deputy, 195.00 John J. Moschetta, Solicitor, 41.66 " There being no second to this motion, it was declared lost. Thereupon, motion was made by Sheriff Williams seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of Amor Prendes, Secretary, in the Sheriff's Office, be fixed at 135.00 per month for the year 1943, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1943, to the first Monday in January, 1944. Motion carried. Motion by Mr, Williams, seconded by Mr. Cumins, that the salaries of the other employees in the Sheriff's Office be fixed as follows for the respective positions set forth below for the year 1943, covering the period from the first Monday of January, 1943, to the first Monday of January, 19 44 : James H. Douglas, Chief Deputy, $215.00 per month Adam Co Zelt, Real Estate Deputy, 200000 James J. Kane, Deputy, 185.00 Thomas Harvey, Deputy, 185,00 Louis Furman, Deputy, 185,00 " John J, Moschetta, Solicitor, 41,66 Motion carried. jUpon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned to meet with the Clerk oaf Courts at 3:30 P,M* to fix salaries in that office. 96-S January 12, 1943, The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of salaries in the Office of the Clerk of Courts, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Tuesday, January 12, 1943, at 3:30 P.M,, with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, t Cummins and O'Neil; County Controller *uart and Clerk of Courts Leo F, Wright. Motion by Mr. Wright, seconded by Mr, Cummins, that the salary of Mary Mlarchezak, Secretary in the Clerk of Courts' Office, be g1xed at the rate of S110,00 per month for the year 1943, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1943, to the first Monday in January, 1944, Motion carried* Motion by Mr. Wright that the salary of Irene B, Burroughs, Deputy Clerk of Courts, be fixed at 1195,00 per month for the year 1943. O'NE[L, COMMISSIONERS 1 NO. 96-S (continued) Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board adjourned to meet with the Register of `ills at 3:45 P.I. to fix the salary of the Deputy Register of dills. N0. 97-S January 12, 1943, The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to coo with the fixing of the salary of the Deputy Register of Wills, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on �uesday, January 12, 1943, at 3:45 F.M., with the following members present, County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil, County Controller Stuart and Register of Wills Leo L. Considine. Motion by Mr. Considine that the salary of Walter Boswell, Deputy Register of Wills, be fixed at the rate of $225.00 per month for the year 1943. There being no second to this motion it was declared lost. Thereupon, motion was made by Mr. Considine, seconded by Mr. Cunnins, that the salary of Walter Boswell, Deputy Register of Fills, be fixed at $215,00 per month for the year 1943, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1943, to the first Monday in January, 1944. Motion carried. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned. 1-k a •�� January 12, 1943. The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salaries of employees in the Office of the Clerk of Courts, Prothonotary, Register of trills and Treasurer, met in_the-Offieee of the County Commissioners on Tuesday, January 12, 1943, with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman., Cummins and 0*Neil, County Controller Stuart and Register of Wills Leo L. Considine, representing the four offices mentioned above. Motion by Mr. Considine, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of W. D. Brightwell and that of Hugh, O'Donnell, -Custodians of the Records of the aforementioned offices of the Clerk of Courts, Prothonotary, Register of Wills and Treasurer, be fixed at $110.00 per month for each month so employed during the year 1943, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1943, to the first Monday in January, 19441 said Custodians of the Records to alternate in the performance of their duties in such manner as to meet with the approval of the officials of the said offices, and their salaries to be charged in equal proportions to the said offices. Motion carried. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned to meet with the Prothono- tary at 4:00 P.M. to fix salaries in that office. NOI-99-S January 12. 1943 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salar- ies of employees in the Office of the Prothonotary, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Tuesday, January 12, 1943, with the following members present: County Commissioners Cummins and O'Neil, County Controller Stuart and Prothonotary Walter Cardon.
