Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that Mary Craig, employed as extra Clerk in
the County Commissioners' Office be paid at the rate of $5.00 per day for the actual number of days

employed, effective as of July 16, 1943. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that William N. Butler, employed in theWash-

! ington County Real Estate Department, be paid at the rate of S5.00 per day for the actual number of
days employed, effective as of July 16, 1943. Motion carried.

1 Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the rate of 60X per hour be paid to men
jemployed as laborers on the Court House cleaning force, effective as of July 1, 1943. Motion
carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.

The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salaries
i of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office of the
County Commissioners on Tursday, August 19, 1943, with the following members presvnts County Com-
missioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil, and County Controller Stuart.

No. 118-S November 27, 1943.
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salaries
of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office of the
County Commissioners on Saturday, November 27, 1943, with the following members present: County
Commissioners Berryman. Cummins and O'Neil, and County Controller Stuart.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the salary of Louis Comer, Might Super -
intendant of the Court House, be fixed at the rate of 125.00 per month, for the remainder of the
year 1943, effective as of November 16, 1943. Motion carried.
j Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the salary of Colin Swingle, Assistant
jEngineer at the Heating Plant, be fixed at the rate of S135,00 per month for the remainder of the
year 1943, effective as of November 18, 1943. Motion carried.
