The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salaries
of employees in the Office of the County Commissioners, met in the County Commissioners' Office on
Friday, May 28, 1943, with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins
and O'Neill County Controller Stuart.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr, Berryman, that the salary of gran Mrzlak, today appoin
as Clerk it the Office of the County Commissioners, be fixed at the rate of :$125.00 per month for
the year 1943, effective May 16, 1943, Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.

The Salary Board of the County of Washington. having to do with the matter of fixing salaries
of persons employed by the Registration Commission,'met;_in"the Office of the County Commissioners
on Tuesday, June 15, 1943, with the following members presents County Commissioners Berryman.
Cummins and O'Neil, and Deputy Controller Dentel.
Motion by Mr. Cummins,seconded by Mr. Berry, that the rate of pay for Special Field
Registrars employed by the Registrrtion Commission be fixed at $10.00 per day for each day so em-
ployed, such rate of pay to include all travel and other expenses of persons so employed, and that
the rate of pay for local persons employed as Assistants to the Special Field Registrars in the
various places of registration in the County be fixed at 6.00 per day for the actual number of
days so employed. Motion carried and the Chief Clerk of the Registration Office directed to make
notation of this action on the minutes of the Registration Commission*
There being no further business before the Salary Board, the meeting was adjourned.

The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of salaries of em-
ployees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office of the County
Commissioners on Friday, July 30, 1943, with the following members present: County Commissioners
Berrymman, Cummins and O'Neil, and County Controller Start,
Motion by Mr. Berryman, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of M'adlyn Bebout, Clerk in
the County Commissioners* Office, be increased, in the amount of $10.00 per month, thus making her
salary $125.00 per month, effective as of July 1, 1943, to cover the period from that date until
the first Monday in January, 1944. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman., that the salary of Helen Davis Maple,
in the Court House, be fixed at the rate of J50.00 per month, effective as of duly 1. 1943, to
coverdthe period from that date until the first Monday in January, 1944. Motion carried.,
