O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS N0, 2-S January 11, 1940 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the salary of the Deputy Register of gills, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Thursday, January 11, 1940, at,4:00 F.M,, with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil; County Controller Smith and Register of Wills Considine, Motion by Mr. Considine that the salary of Walter Boswell, Deputy Register of Wills, be fixed at 215.00 per month. There being no seconded to this motion, the matter was tabled and action i deferred until later. I � Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board adjourned to meet at 4:15 P.M. to fix salaries in the Office of the County Controller. ------------..,... i j January 11, 1940. NO. 3-S The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the salaries of employees in the Office of the County Controller, met in the Office of the County Commissioners, on Thursday, January 11, 1940, at 4:15 P.M., with the following members present: County Commis- sioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil; County Controller Smith. Motion by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salaries of employees in the County Controller's Office, be fixed for the year 1940, effective January 1, 1940, as follows: I Gilbert Dentel, Deputy Controller, $200.00 per month Mary N. Allen, Bookkeeper, 160.00 Mabel Jarrett, Clerk, 100.00 Dolores Fisher, Clerk, 100.00 Vincent Massock, Solicitor, 125.00 Motion carried. j Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board adjourned to meet at 10:00 A.M, on January i 12, 1940, NO, 4-S January 12, 1940. The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of salaries of persons coming under its jurisdiction, met in the Office of the County Commissioners, on Friday, January 12, 1940, at 10:00 A.M., with the following members present: County Commissioners Berry- man, Cummins and O'Neil; County Controller Smith. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the salary of the Jail Warden, James 0. Roupe, be fixed at $175.00 per month, effective January 1, 1940, for the year 1940. Motion carried, with Mr. O'Neil voting "No". Motion duly made and seconded that the meeting adjourn to meet at 10:30 to fix salaries in the County Treasurer's Office. Motion carried.
