The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of salaries of
employees in the Office of the County Treasurer, met in the Office of the County Commissioners '

on Friday, January 12, 19400 at 10:30 A.M., with the following members present: County Commissioners
Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil; County Treasurer John L. Post; County Controller J. K. Smith,
i
Motion by Mr. Post, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salaries of employees in the Office of
the County Treasurer be fixed as follows for the year 1940, effective January 1, 1940: I
John Bevec, Deputy Treasurer, 9200.P0 per month
"'h'heresa Hank, Bookkeeper, 175.00
Alice T. Leckey, Clerk, 140.00 sf +t
Margaret P. Hagan, Clerk, 140.00
Jennie Garbinski, Clerk, 140.00
Motion carried.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board adjourned to meet at 10:45 A.M. to fix salaries
in the Recorder's Office,

employees in the Office of the Recorder, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Friday,
January 12, 1940, at 10:45 A.M., with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman,
Cummins and O'Neil; Recorder Cooper; Controller Smith.
Motion by Air. Cooper, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salaries of employees in the Office of
! the Recorder be fixed as follows for the year 1940, effective January 1, 1940:

Mathilda Mc Glade, Index Clerk, 130.00 " "
