The Salary Board of the County of Washingtom, having to do with the matter of fixing the salaries of employees in the Prothonotary's Office, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Friday, January 12, 1940, at 11:45 A.M., with the following members present: County Commissioners i Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil; County Controller Smith and Prothonotary Walter Carson. Motion by Mr. Carson, seconded by fir. Cummins, that the salaries of employees in the Prothono- tary's Office, be fixed for the year 1940 as follows, effective January 1, 1940: John Gnip, Deputy Prothonotary, $200.00 per month Thomas Ullom, Clerk, 140.00 " it Russell Riggle, Clerk, 140.00 " °' Peter Jollick, Clerk, 140.00 Anne Murray, Clerk, 130.00 Valesca Piercer, Clerk, 120.00 Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Smith, that the meeting adjourn until 2:00 P. M. Motion carried. NO. 11-S January 12, 1940. The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing the salaries of employees in the Office of the Sheriff, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Friday, January 12, 1940, at 2:00 P,M., with the following members present: County Commissioner: Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil; County Controller Smith and Sheriff M. B. Armstrong. Motion by Mr. Armstrong, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salaries of employees in the Sheriff's Office be fixed as follows for the year 1940, Effective January 1, 1940: P. S. Allen, Chief Deputy, $200.00 per month Adam C. Zelt, Deputy, 160.00 F. L. Heinrich, Deputy, 160.00 Harry Bell, Deputy, 160.00 Louis Rosena, Deputy, 160.00 Clara Miller, Clerk, 100.00 S. E. Murphy, Solicitor, 500.00 per year Motion carried* Upon motion duly made and seconded, the meeting was adjourned and the Board to meet at 2:30 to fix the salary of the stenographer in the Coroner's Office. NO*-12-S January 12, 1940. The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing the salary of the stenographer in the Coroner's Office, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Friday, January 12, 1940, at 2:30 P.M., with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil; County Controller Smith and Coroner Jones. Motion by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of Margaret Meiser, stenographer 1 1 1 L in the Coroner's Office be fixed at $100.00 per month. Motion carried. Upon motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Smith, the meeting adjourned*
