February 14, 1940.
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of salaries of
employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office of the
County Commissioners on Wednesday, February 14, 1940, those present being Messrs. Cummins and
O'Neil, and Controller J. K. Smith, Commissioner Berryman being absent.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Smith, that the salary of Wallace McFall, 2nd Engineer
at the Boiler Rooms for the Court House and Jail, be fixed at $125.00 per month, effective
February 1, 1940. Motion carried, with Mr. O'Neil not voting.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Smith, that the salary of Corrine Haught, Clerk in
the Office of the Road Department, be fixed at $125.00 per month, effective February 1, 19409
Motion carried, with Mr. O'Neil not voting.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.

The Salary Board of the County of Washington having to do with the salaries of employees
c,oming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office of the County
Commissioners on Wednesday, February 14, 1940, those present being County Commissioners Cummins,
and O'Neil, Mr. Berryman being absent; County Controller J. K, Smith also present,
Motion by Mr, Cummins, seconded by Mr, O'Neil, that the compensation of John Simms be fixed
at the rate of $6.00 per day for the actualEnumber of days employed as clerk, assisting the
Board of Revision in the hearing of appeals from tax assessments for the triennial period
1940-41-42, Motion carried.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.

NO. 21-S March 7, 1940.
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing
salaries of employees of the Board of Revision, met in the Office of the County Commissioners
on Thursday, march 7, 1940, with the following members present: County Commissioners Cummins
and O'Neil, and County Controller Smith.
Motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that J. M. Connors be paid the sum of
50.00 for services rendered as Acting Chief Clerk to the Board of Revision during the period
of the hearing of appeals from triennial assessments by the Board. Motion carried
There being no further business before the Salary Board, the meeting was adjourned.
