COMMISSIONERS E N0. 30-S August 14, 1940 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of salaries of employees in the Office of the County Commissioners and the Office of the County Controller, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Wednesday, August 14, 1940, with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman and Cummins, Mr, O'Neil being absent from the county, and County Controller Smith* Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the salary of Mrs. Clara Fisher, employed on the cleaning force in the Court House, be fixed at the rate of $45.00 per month for the year 1940, effective August 1, 1940. Notion carried. Motion by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of Peter Lee, now employed regularly in the Office of the County Controller, be fixed at $150.00 per month for the year 1940, effective August 15, 1940. Motion carried. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. --------------- N0. 31-5 Odtober 15, 1940. The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of salaries of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Tuesday, October 15, 1940, with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil, and County Controller Smith. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Controller Smith, that the salary of Catherine Laser, employed on the cleaning force in the Court House, be reduced from $55.00 per month to t45.00 per month, and the salary of Nellie Manning, also employed on the cleaning force, be increased from 45.00 per month to $55.00 per month, effective October 1, 1940, such adjustments being made because of a change in the duties assigned to each. Motion carried. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting vas adjourned. --------------- 1;0, 32-S October 25, 1940. The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of salaries of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Friday, October 25, 1940, with the following members presents Messrs. Berryman, Cummins do Smith, Mr. O'Neil beinf, absent. Motion by Mr, Cummins, seconded by Mr. Smith, that the hourly gage for Paul Pettit, employed as a draftsman by Washington County, be set at 901 per hour, effective October 24, 1940. Lotion carried. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
