COMMISSIONERS NO. 47-8 March 13, 1941. The Salary Board of the County of Washington having to do with the matter of salarie$ of employees in the Offices of the Clerk of the Courts, Prothonotary,, Register of Wills and Treasur- er, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Thursday, March 13, 1941, with the following persons presents County Conmissioners Berryman and Cummins, Mr. O'Neil having knowledge of meeting but absent from the county; County Controller Smith, and Clerk of Courts, F. Leo Wright, representiing the four offices mentioned above, Motion by Mr. Wright, seconded by Mr. Smith, that the salary of ire D. Brightwell and Hugh O'Donnell, Custodians of the Records of the aforementioned offices of the Clerk of Courts, Prothonotary, Register of Wills and Treasurer, be fixed at $85e00 each per month for each month so employed during the year 1941, effective as of March 1, 1941; said Sustodians of the Records to alternate in the performance of their duties in such manner as to meet with the approval of the officials of the said offices, and their salaries to be charged in equal proportions to the said offices, Motion carried. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned. NOe 48-5 April 16, 1941. The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salar- ies of employees in the County Road and Bridge Department, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Wednesday, April 16, 1941, with the following members presents County Commis- sioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil, and Deputy Controller Dentel, representing County Control- ler Smith. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the rate of pay for the respective positions set forth, effective April 1, 1941, be fixed as follows: Draftsmen 80je per hour Skilled Labor 80� Shovel Operator 90je a " Grader Operator 90je Stack Truck Operator 90�1 a Motion carried, There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned* NO. 49-S April 16, 1941. The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of salaries of employees in the Registration Office, met in the Office of the County CommissLoners on Wednesday, April 16, 1941, with the following members presents County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil, with Deputy Controller Dentel representing County Controller Smith, MINUTE • • BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA JOHN D. COMMISSIONERS 12 39 WARD PRINTING CO 72328 In connection with the "Mail Check-up of Registers" as provided by Acts of Assembly, motion was made by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the rate of pay for persons employed by the Registration Commission as Special Inspectors of registration, to visit personally the address of electors who could not be reached at the address given at the time of their last registration, be fixed at $5.00 per day in cities and boroughs, and at $6,00 per day in townships, such rate of pay i to include all travel expense of such persons so employed. Motion carried and the Chief Clerk in the Registration Office directed to make notation of this action on the minutes of the Registration i Commission. ! There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. I NO. 50-S May 1, 1941. County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil, together with County Controller Smith, sitting as a Salary Board, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Thursday, May 1, 1941. Recorder of Deeds, John H. Cooper, appeared before the Salary Board to request that the payroll records in the County Controller's Office, covering the payment of the salary of Sarah Griffith, Clerk in the Recorder's Office, be corrected to read "Sarah G. Nevling", effective April 21, 1941, such change in the records being made because of the recent marriage of said clerk in the Recorder's Office. I i The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing the salaries of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office ' of the County Commissioners, with the following members present on May 12, 1941: County Commis• i j sioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil and County Controller Smith. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the,salary of Dushan Nicksick, Inspector on county -wide WPA Projects, be fixed at the rate of $160,00 per month, effective as of May 1, 19419 with mileage at the rate of 6� per mile for each mile traveled in his own automobile in connection with his duties as such inspector on oounty-vide WPA Projects.
