January 8, 1942,
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the salaries of employees
coming under its jurisdiction, met in the Office of the County Commissioners, Washington,
Pennsylvania, on Thursday, January 8, 1942, at 2:00 P.M., said.Board being constituted of the
following members: Chairman., County Commissioner John. D. Berryman, Secretary, County Commissioner
Ross R. Cummins, County Commissioner John N. O'Neil and County Controller Harvey Stuart.
Chariman Berryman presiding, the meeting having been called for the purpose of receiving
from various officials salary recommendations for the year 1942 for the employees in their
respective offices whose salaries are fixed by the Salary Board.
Upon receipt of such recommendations, motion was dulyT aade, seconded and adrried that the -
Board adjourn for study and consideration of the recommendations so made, the Board to meet at
the call of the Chairman to fix the salaries for the coming year.

The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of salaries of
employees coming under its jurisdiction, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Tuesday,,
January 13, 1942, at 11:00 A.M., after study and consideration of the salary recommendations from
the various officials for the year 1942 for those employees in
Ahe respective offices whose salaries are fixed by the Salary Board, those members present being
County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil, and County Controller Stuart.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Berryman and the Prothonotary, Walter Carson,
was called into the meeting in order to fix the salaries of employees in the Prothonotary's
Office for the ensuing year.
Motion by Mr. Carson, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salaries of employees in the Pro-
thonotary's Office be fixed as follows for the yeare1942, for the respective positions set forth
below, covering the period from the first Monday of January 1942 to the first Monday of January
1943:
John Hp Gnip, Deputy, $215.00 per month
Thomas Ullom, Index Clerk, 165.00 " s
Anne.Me Murray, Index Clerk, 155400
Russell S. Riggle, Clerk, 155,00
Vilesca McCollester, Clerk, 135,00
Naomi Longdon, Clerk, 115.00
Lotion carried, with Mr. O'Neil not voting.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned to meet at 1:30 P.M. to
fix salaries in the Office of the Register of Wills.
