O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS NO* 70-S January 14, 19429 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salaries of employees in the Office of the County Controller, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Wednesday, January 14, 1942, at 11:15 A.M., with the following members present: County Commis- sioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil, and County Controller Stuart* Motion by Mr. Stuart, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salaries of employees in the County Controller's Office be fixed as follows, for the respective positions set forth, for the year 1942, covering the period from the first Monday of January, 1942, to the first Monday of January, 1943: Gilbert J. Dentel, Deputy. $216.00 per month Peter Jollick, Bookkeeper, 175,00 It It Mary Ann Ruffalo, Ass1t Bookkeeper, 150.00 IIIt Dolores Fisher, Tax Lien Clerk., 135000 II IR Marian Popovich, Audit Clerk, 130.00 n II June DiVitis, Voucher Clerk, 130000 Vincent R. Massock, Solicitor, 150,00 Motion carried, with Mr. O'Neil not voting. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned to meet at 11:30 to fix the salaries of extra help coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners. --------------- NO. 71-S January 14, 1942, The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing the I rates of pay for extra help employed on a per them basis in the Court House in the various capacities, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Wednasday, January 14, 1942, at 11:30 AiM., with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil and County Controller Stuart; Motion by Mr. ftinins, seconded by Mr. Stuart, that all persons employed as extra Court Clerks by the Prothonotary and Clerk of Courts be paid at the rate of $4*00 per day; that persons employed as extra clerical help, having ninety days' experience, be paid at the rate of $4.00 per day, provided that the official holding said office in which such clerical help is employed will first certify to the County Controller that such extra clerical help has had at least ninety days' experience in that office; that all other clerical help be paid at the rate of $3.50 per day; and that substitute cleaners be paid at the rate of $2.00 per day,- all of the foregoing rates to be effective for the time actually employed in the respective capacities for the year 1942, covering the period from the first Monday of January, 1942, to the first Monday in January 1943; Motion carried, with Mr. O'Neil not voting but requesting that the following remarks be entered on the record with reference to the action taken on salaries, generally, by the Salary Board for the year 1942:
