The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of the salaries of
employees in the Sheriff's Office, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Tuesday, January
13, 1942, at 3:45 with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and
0--'Neil, County Controller Stuart and Sheriff C. 0. Williams.
I Motion by Mr. Williams, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salaries of employees in the Sheriff's
Office be fixed as follows for the respective positions set forth below for the year 1942, covering
the period from the first Monday of January, 1942, to the first Monday of January, 1943:
James H. Douglas, Chief Deputy, $215,00 per month
P. S. Allen, Real Estate Deputy, 200.00 n
James J. Kane., Deputy, 185.00
Andrew Remish, Deputy, 185*00

Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned to meet at 9:30 A.M.,

Office of the County Treasurer, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Wednesday, January
14, 1942, at 9z30 A.M., with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, Ctilfmins
and O'Neil, County Controller Stuart and County Treasurer John L. Post*
Motion by Mr. Post, seconded by Mr. C wmins, that the salaries of employees in the Treasurer's

County Commissioners on Wednesday, January 14, 1942, at 10 A.M., with the following members
present: County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and OtNeil, and County Controller Stuart*
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the salaries of the persons herein named,
in the respective capacities set forth, be fixed as follows for the year 1942, covering the period
