O'NEIL. COMMISSIONERS Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the salaries of employees in the Road and Bridge Department be fixed as follows for the year 1942, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1942, to the first Monday in January, 1943: H. B. Crumrine, Chief Draftsman, $240.00 per month Paul J. Pettit, Assft to Chief Draftsman, 200*00 " G. L. Allman, Iffainteinance Superintendent, 215,00 " Corrine Haught, Stenographer, 140'00 Sheridan Sutherland, Garage Foreman, 180:00 John T. Fetcko, Chauffeur & Stock Clerk, Garage, 140,00 Motion carried, with Mr. O'Neil not voting, and notation to be made in these minutes covering the adjustment made in the salary of Sheridan Sutherland, Garage Foreman, whereby, in view of the new arrangement begiming the first Monday in January, 1942, the Washington County Institution District is not to contribute to the salary of the said Sheridan Sutherland as foreman at the County Garage, but instead, the said Institution District is to pay to the County the actual cost of all repairs and parts, performed or furnished by the County, and the said salary is to be assumed and paidwhollybytheCounty as fixed by the foregoing action of the Salary Board, Motion by Mr, Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the following rates of pay be established in the Road and Bridge Department for the year 1942, covering the period from the first Monday in January 1942, to the first Monday in January, 1943: Shovel Operator Grader Operator Mack Truck Operator Transit Man Draftsman Operators Skilled Labor Semi -skilled Labor Common Labor Inspectors Motion carried, with Mr. O'Neil not voting* $1.00 per hour 1.00 11 it 14,00 It It "95 It 'go It .90 11 it 190 It If . *70 .60 7,00 per day, plus travel expense Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned to meet at 11:00 A.M. to fix the salaries of the Record Custodians. NO, 69-S January 14, 1942. The Salary Board of the•County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salaries of employees in the Offices of the Clerk of Courts, Prothonotary, Register of Wills and Treasurer, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Wednesday, January 14, 1942, at 11:00 AaM#, with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil, County Controller i Stuart, and Clerk ofCourts, F. Leo Wright, representing the four offices mentioned above. i Motion by Mr. Wright, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of W. D. Brightwell and Hugh OtDonnell, Custodians of the Records of the aforementioned offices of the Clerk of Courts, Pro- thonotary, Register of Wills and Treasurer, be fixed at $100,00 each per month for each month so employed during the year 1942, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1942, to the first Monday in January, 1943; said Custodians of the Records to alternate in the performance of their duties in such manner as to meet with the approval of the officials of the said offices, and their salaries to be charged in equal proportions to the said offices.
