February 26, 1942•
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing the
salaries of employees in the Office of the Recorder, met in the Office of the County Commissioners
on Thursday, February 26, 1942, with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman
and Cur.arlins, Mr, O'Neil being absent from the County, County Controller Stuart and Recorder of
Deeds, William D. Smith.
Motion by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of Kilo, M. Bruner, Transcriber,
in the Recorder's Office, be fixed at S110.00 per month, effective March 1, 1942, and covering -he
period until the first Monday in January, 1943. Motion carried,
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.

NO, 75-S March 19, 1942.
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salaries
of persons employed by the Registration Commission, met in the Office of the County Commissioners
on Thursday, March 19, 1942, with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman.,
Cummins and O'Neil, and County Controller Stuart.
Motion by Mir. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the rate of pay for Special Field
Registrars employed by the Registration Commission be fixed at $10,00 per day for *heh .day..Ao
Toyed- auph rate -of pay to include all travel and other expense of persons so employed, and
that the rate of pay for local persons employed as Assistants to the Special Field Registrars
in the various places of registration in the County, be fixed at $6.00 per day for the actual
number of days so employed. Motion carried and the Chief Clerk in the Registration Office
directed to make notation of this action on'the minutes of the Registration Commission.

NO. 76-S March 23, 1942.
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salaries
of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the office of the
County Commissioners on Monday, March 25, 1942, at 2:30 P,M., with the following members present:
County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil, and County Controller Stuart.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the salary of Anthony Note, Voucher
Clerk in the County Commissioners' Office, be fixed at $165.00 per month, effective as of March
16, 1942, and covering the period until the first Monday in January, 1943. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the salary of Peter Lee, Clerk in the
County Commissioners' Office, be fixed at $140.00 per month, effective as of March 12, 1942, and
covering the period until the first Monday in January, 1943. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the salary of Lula Henry, matron at
the Juvenile Detention Home, be fixed at $60.00 per month, effective as of March 16, 1942, covering
the period until the first Monday in January, 1943. Motion carried.

as a cleaner in the Court House be fixed at $50#00 per month, effective as of March 16, 1942
and covering the period until the first Monday in January, 1943. Motion carried*
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.

The Salary Board of the County of Washington having to do with the matter of fixing salaries
of employees in the Registration Office, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Monday,
March 30, 1942, with the following members present: County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and
O'Neil, and County Controller Stuart.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the salary of Lawrence McCarty, Chief
Clerk in the Registration Office, be fixed at $165*00 per month, effective Apri3-1, 1942, and
ffI covering the period ending the first Monday in January, 1943. Motion carried, notation of this
action of the Salary Board to be made on the minutes of the Registration Commissions
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.

The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salaries
of employees in the Clerk of Courts' Office, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Monday,
March 30, 1942, with the following members present; County Commissioners Berryman, Cummins and
O'Neil, County Controller Stuart and Clerk of Courts, F. Leo Wright*
Motion by Mr. Wright, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of Mary Marchezak, Somerset
Tonwship, employed as Secretary in the Clerk of Courts! Office, be fixed at $85.00 per month.,
effective March 165, 1942, and covering the period from that date until the first Monday in January,
1943. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned*

The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salaries
of employees in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds, mot in the Office of the County Commissioners
on Monday, May 11, 1942, at 4 P.M., with the following members present: County Commissioners Berry-
man, Cummins and O'Neil; Deputy Controller Dentel and Recorder of Deeds Smith.
Motion by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the following named transcribers be em-
ployed regularly in the Recorder of Deeds Office, at a salary of t110.00 each per month, effective
as of May 1, 1942, for the year 1942,-covering the period from the effective date until the first
Monday in January, 1943: 1
