County Commissioners in regular session on March 11, 1936, at 11:30 A.M., members present Messrs. Berryman, Amos and OtNeil. Motion by Mr Seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the sum of $25.00 per month i for one year, be paid from the Treasury of Washington County to the Pennsyl- vania Department of Health towards defraying the expenses in connection with the Community Sanitation Project. Motion carried. Berryman and OtNeil, Mr. Amos having notice of meeting but absent. i I The following Resolution was presented, duly seconded and adopted: WHEREAS, the Secretary of Highways is reconstructing and improving under the provisions of the State Highway Act of 1911 P.L. 468 and its supplements and amendments, a section of road in South Strabane Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, designated on the records of the Department of Highwaysaas Route 113 Section 9-9A. Now, therefore, the undersigned Lizzie A. Iams, owner or owners of property along said road, for and in consideration of the sum of $1.00, hereby offer and agree to and with the County of Washington, Pennsylvania, to settle seven ninths (7/9) of all claims for damages arising from the said reconstruction and improve- ment of said road, together with a right of way as now located over the said property for the use of the adjoining property now owned by John Nichol, for the sum of $560.00, upon condition that this offer of settlement is accepted and agreed to by the County Commissioners of said County within 30 days from the date hereof, and if so accepted, the said sum is to be paid promptly and if- not so ac- cepted within said time, this agreement is to be null and void. If it is neces- sary to obtain an order of the Court approving the ,settlement, sufficient time is to be given to obtain such order.
