O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS WARD PRIN IN C 8 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa. , September 28, 1936. Commissioners in regular session, members present: Messrs. Berryman, Amos and 01Neil; County Controller Post was also present. Bids were opened at 11 A.M. as per advertisement of the County Con- troller for the furnishing of approximately 105,000 official ballots and 30,000 specimen ballots for use at the General Election to be held on November 3, 1936 . The following bids were presented and read in the presence of the County Commis- sioners and County Controller: Joint bid of WARD PRINTING COMPANY, WASHINGTON, PA. AND MONONGAHELA PUBLISHING COMPANY, MONONGAHELA, PA. A1190.00 1 Bid of DERRICK .PUBLISHING COMPANY, OIL CITY, PA. $2683.00 i I Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the contract for furnishing the official and specimen ballots be awarded to the joint bidders, the Ward Printing Company, Washington, Pa. and the Monongahela Publishing Company, Monongahela, Pa. , at their bid price of $1190.00, and that the certi- fied check for $500.00 of the Derrick Publishing Company, Oil City, Pa. , be re- turned to them at once. i Bids were also received and opened for the furnishing of Election ! i Supplies for the General Election to be held on November 3, 1936, as follows: 1M. G. JOHNSTON COMPANY, PITTSBURGH, PA. $682.12 Motion by Mr. Amos and seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that the bid for F furnishing Tally Sheets, Return Sheets, Envelopes, Numbered Listd of Voters, T'Voter' s Guides", etc. , requied for use by the Election Officers at the General Election to be held on November 3, 1936, supplies to be packed in 189 boxes for use in Boroughs, Townships and Third Class Cities, as may be found necessary, be awarded to William G.
