O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS WARD FRIT I 76 -.7 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa.., December 31, 1936 . Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messts. Berryman, Amos and OtNeil; also present were George D. Iams, County Engineer, and David H. Weiner, County Solicitor. The matter of a proposal from the Ross Independent Oil company for the furnishing and installing of a 1000 gallon gasoline tank at the Washington County Garage for the sum of $355.00,, was brought before the meeting . After discussion at some length, the matter was referred to the County Engineer, Mr. Iams, in order that he might reach an agreement with the Ross Independent Oil - Co. whereby they might furnish said tank and the necessary fittings, with County forces to do the excavating, concreting, etc . , in connection with the installation of said tank. No further action was taken by the Board in the matter. President Berryman then stated that the matter of electing the cleaning force for the Court House for the year 1937 would be presented at this time; Mr. OtNeil stated that he would not take part in this and withdrew from the meeting . Motion by Mr. Amos., seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the following members of the former cleaning, staff be elected, with proviso that each may be dismissed upon thirty days' notice: Eugene Spells, Thomas Baker, Ruth Bebout, Catherine Naser,, Belle Moulden, Vivian Hooe. Motion carried., Mr.. OtNeil taking no part. Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the following persons be employed as part of the cleaning staff of the Court House, beginning the first Monday of January, 1937, with proviso that each may be dismissed upon thirty days* notice: Laura Shields, Emma Wise,, Nellie Manning, Lula Henry, Bessie Clutter and Lottie Maurer. Motion carried. Mr. OtNeil taking no part in the meeting . Motion by Mr. Amos, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that James D. Mosely be elected janitor for the year 1937, to take the place of Martin Moseby, with proviso that he may be dismissed upon 30 days* notice. Motion carried, Mr. OtNeil not taking part in the meeting . There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.. (SIGNED) ( COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.
