BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

Commissioners in regular session, members present being, Messrs . Berryman,
!mos and OlNeil.
The following Resolution was presented., duly seconded and adopted:
RESOLVED, That the rate of taxation upon the valuations of the properties
of the County., in order to raise sufficient revenues to meet required expendi-
tures for the year 1936 , be fixed at nine (9) mills, which will make payment of
taxes to the amount of ninety cents upon each one hundred dollars of assessed
valuation of real estate and occupations .
There bE[ng no further business before the meeting , it was adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, each member having had per-
sonal notice of meeting, members present being Messrs. Berryman., Amos and OtNeil.
The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of .
Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County of a
note for One Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan was pre-
sented, duly seconded and adopted by said Board., to-wit:
WHEREAS, it has become necessary for said' Board to borrow the sum of One
Hundred Thousand ($100.,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses
for the year 1936 and to be payable out of taxes and other current revenues which
have been assessed and levied and are to be collected by the County during the year
1936, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of
Washington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current ex-
penses of the County, the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized
and directed to negotiate a temporary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by
them,
payable out of taxes which have been levied and are to be collected during
the year 1936, and so much of said taxes as may be necessary to repay said loan,
with interest, are hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a
note therefor, payable August 5 1936, with interest from date of said note at
the rate of two and one-half ( i
22) per cent. per annum, free of all taxes levied
by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said taxes the County of Wasrhington
assumes and agrees to pay, said note to be negotiated and issued as follows:

There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
