O'NEIL COMMISSIONERS WARD PRINTING CO 65137 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., April 22, 1937. County Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Berryman, Amos and OtNeil. Motion duly made and seconded that an appropriation in the amount- of $300 be made in connection with a WPA project for an Archeological and Historical Survey in Washington County; this amount to be payable on condition that- said project is authorized by the Pennsylvania Historical Commission. Motion carried. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned. (SIGNED) COUNTY COMMISSIONERS. Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., April 30, 1937. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, each member having had personal notice of meeting, members present being Messrs. Berryman, Amos and OtNei The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County of a note for One Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan was presented, duly seconded and adopted by said Board, to-wit: WHEREAS, it has become necessary for said Board to-borrow the sum of One Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current ex- penses for the year 1937 and to be payable out of taxes and other current revenues kh.ich have been assessed and levied and are -to be collected by the County during the year 1937, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Washington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the' payment-of current expenses of the County, the proper officials of the said County are-hereby author- ized and directed to negotiate a temporary loan on such terms- as -may�be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes which have- been levied and are 'to, be collected during the year 1937, and so much of said taxes as may be necessary torepay said loan, with interest, are hereby set aside and designated for- that purpose, and issue a note therefor, payable August 5 1937, with interest from date of said note at the rate of two and one-half (2 , per cent. per annum, free of all taxes levied by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said taxes the County of Wash- ington assumes and agrees to pay, said note to be negotiated-and issued- as follows: THE WASHINGTON UNION TRUST COMPANY, Washington, Pa., $100,000.00 There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was -adjourned.
