Motion duly made and seconded that the Chief Clerk be authorized to purchase one 11-column R. C. Allen heavy duty desk model electric adding and subtracting machine from the Washington Typewriter Company at their bid price of $280, delivered at the office of the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa. Motion carried. There being no further business before the mqkAing., it was adjourned. Whalen, Burgettst-own; Pa., also presentl Motion duly made and seconded that taxes in the amount of $90.10 be accepted by the County Treasurer as settlement for taxes on the John E. Powell property, Burgettstown.. Pa., now being paid by Mr. A. A. Haines, purchaser, through Mr. Whalen, this amount being 10,% of the face of taxes totaling $901.00 and costs to the amount of $14.41.
